The idea of the two bedroom apartment we saw on Saturday is really growing on me. Evita wanted it the moment we saw it, and I am starting to want it more than anything. I can definitely make it happen financially. I have to put my mind to it.
We went yesterday to Ikea and did four audits on the way there. While at IKEA, Evita decided that she wants a loft bed with a desk underneath it. My mother said she would buy her that for her thirteenth birthday in June (along with help assembling it). I personally decided that I do not want anything big from Ikea. I might decide on one of their black room size rugs for the living room, but I do t want any of their couches or beds for myself. There are two discount furniture stores in that area that will deliver to that complex, and I will probably look there for a couch and bed. I like the bookcases at Ikea, but the apartment has bookcases in the wall.
I just really really want this place. It not only has a nice layout, it’s also very clean. All the groceries will be my groceries. All the stuff will be my stuff. My parents house is dirty, and no matter how much I try to clean it (even when I add bleach), it doesn’t get better.
We decided to leave my orange cat Chu with my mom, since those two really love each other. Alex the gray cat is coming with us. This place has a two pet limit and a nice area to walk dogs, and this isn’t for sure yet but I might try to adopt Fluffy if his mom goes to extended care or passes away. Chu also came from an elderly client, so if I do claim Fluffy, I need to stop! I am hesitant to take Fluffy, because he does have high energy, but his owner isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. I have time to decide. I just consider it because he’s such a joy to be with. He adores me and I adore him, actually. We’ll see. First things first. I really want this apartment.
